HELLO FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS! Summer has returned and so have the cruise ships! Local businesses from shop keepers to fishermen readying their boats for another season are busy dusting off their shelves and greasing their equipment. Students are returning from college and the local bears are beginning to show up around the frindges of our town. At WinterSong Soap Company we are continuing to fill orders, make soap, and enjoy the colorful flowers and scenery.
WinterSong Soap Company is a small family business in Sitka Alaska. It is located on Baranof Island, surrounded by pristine wilderness, endless beaches and abundant wildlife. Our business started in a small kitchen which was quickly outgrown when more soap was being made than meals. With years of experience, we combine the old-fashioned art of soap-making with traditional herbal wisdom. Our products are made to enhance your health, body and spirit, using local plants gathered and used with respect for nature, from our pristine forests, beaches, and meadows. Our pure herbal soaps, salves and bath products are simply made, cut and packaged by hand using
recycled papers, locally made wooden crates and simple packaging.
